We had contributed through community waste bins to create awareness among local villagers about the importance of waste segregation for effective waste management. The whole awareness activity was planned and executed through the dedicated volunteers of NSS volunteers of Archarya Marathe College, Chembur who all had conducted several awareness sessions for local residents on waste segregation and waste management practices through street plays and interactive skits.

All these bins were placed at strategic locations so that it becomes easy for villagers to dispose their waste comfortably while following the concept of waste segregation. Many villagers came forward and promised to follow best practices while disposing their daily household waste as their contribution towards clean and green environment.
