Someone has rightly said that talking proudly about someone’s bravery makes you feel brave enough to handle those difficult situations and, on a similar line, hereby we are sharing a brave story of a lady who is breaking all the barriers of ongoing life threatening and a fearful situation all by herself by simply being a part of it and that’s too from very close of it! We hope that her success story becomes a road-map for thousands others to follow it in those difficult paths when time comes to save lives, to save humanity!

We are talking about the good deeds of Mrs Soni Kujur, who is presently serving at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai since year 2012 as a Nurse taking care of cancer patients at different wards and right now she is also looking after patients of Covid-19.

When the news of Corona virus crisis broke-out first in China, like many of us, she too was not so familiar with it’s would-be consequences and could not anticipate its mayhem. Only when the lock-down was announced and number of cases started increasing, she became cautious towards its criticality and realised that she is one of those few blessed ones who is going to encounter it for a cause – a cause to safeguard all of us!!

Very soon she realised that her profession needed much more than what she was already contributing in her present job-schedule. As the days of lock-down started moving forward her challenges started becoming more and more agile. It was not just about serving a diseased patient to safeguard his health from all the infections but also safeguarding the lives of others including her own. A single mistake could have made her a carrier, bad enough to spread the disease all around, even to her own house and residential society. She is continuously taking care of all the precautions with same attention and enthusiasm as it was with her very first patient at the time of her joining.

During these challenging situations, she is working hard to ensure that all her patients strictly follow all the guidelines recommended by the doctors from time to time for their well being. Whether it’s timely medications, their meals or personal hygiene, she understood that every piece of her act is very important. While service like this is nothing new to her or her profession, the current situations are making every single act count and making it so precious for the survival of lives.

On other hand, while living in this city of dreams, comfort is not something which everyone can experience here. It becomes even more difficult for a working-lady who has to face enormous challenges during the course of travel every day. Here in Mumbai, generally life gets stuck in heavy traffic, long travelling hours, high pollution be it air or sound, poor work life balance, personal engagements and above all a very short time in hand to share quality time with family members which are good enough to break even the strongest of characters at times. While coping up with all such situations in some way or the other she has been successfully re-energising her life all the times by virtue of all her good deeds which are paying right now for her which is keeping her and her family safe despite serving under fire in a deadly situation being a caring and attentive nurse.

To add to her fortunes, she is blessed with a loving and caring hubby Mr. Anuj Tigga, who is doing everything possible to make her free from most of her daily responsibilities at home even while working from home personally in this ongoing lock-down situation. Being a professional from a renowned Institute of Hotel Management at Kolkata, all the house-hold works related to cooking food or cleaning & maintaining good hygiene at home or managing other core activities at home is coming at fairly ease to him due to his past experiences. His efforts to manage this house to make his nurse wife’s burden free to serve the corona infected people in the hospital needs applaud and appreciations.

Also, their joint prayers towards Elohim God Christ Aan Sang Hong and heavenly Mother New Jerusalem is helping them fight this situation together.

Currently for a healthcare worker like Soni, the question does not matter what if I get Covid-19 or for how long I can delay it or what will happen to me and my family if I get that? The only though she is living currently with is to take all the required precautions while serving her patients and rest all will be taken care of by almighty.

Rightly said, no fear can ever deny good deeds!

We hope that she continues to serve society with the same zeal and passion filled with her amazingly blessed smile all the time by keeping herself and her society safe by taking all the safe measures.
